I am so glad that Leanne Marshall won this season of Project Runway. Her show at Bryant Park seemed to somehow combine a modern, natural aesthetic with an effortless ethereal quality. Shown in the picture is her trademark scalloped-water inspired embellishments. And there is absolutely zero guilt involved in wearing her line: all of her clothes were made with sustainable eco-friendly fabrics. Although, I must say Karto Momolu put up a good fight. Inspired by her African heritage, she managed to
design very wearable pieces. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her in the future.
