Grace Coddington

Last night, I took the subway uptown to watch The September Issue with some of my buddies in Lincoln Center. It wasn't the most amazing documentary I've ever seen, but I will say I enjoyed it thoroughly. It had wonderful insight into the making of the most highly regarded fashion magazine. What I found most charming about the film was the tense banter between Ms. Wintour and Grace Coddington. After watching this insightful look into Vogue, I've come to my own personal conclusion that Grace is the true visionary behind Vogue's image. I think that Grace and Anna's polar opposite esthetics combine to create one isolated, unique vision. I fell in love with Grace's artistic perspective in every shoot that she did.
